Getting Started
Do I need to register to use the app?
No, you don’t need to sign up using an email address or phone number. You just need to provide your name and a unique username to start using the app.
How do I invite someone to use the app?
Every user is given a QR code inside the app. You just need to ask your contact to scan the QR code using their phone’s QR reader. They will be redirected to the Apple App Store or Google Play to download and install the app. They don’t need to register to use the app so it’s pretty fast.
You can also invite them using SMS within the app.
How do I set up my language?
When you install the app, you need to set your default language. That’s it! After that, when you send messages to your contacts, they will receive your messages in their default language. When they reply you in their language, you will still receive their messages in your own language.
It’s like you texting in foreign languages without you knowing at all!
How the auto-translation works?
Our auto-translation feature uses an AI translation engine to interpret each message in different languages. It checks for spelling, grammar, idioms, and more. Even if you misspell certain words or use abbreviations, it will auto-correct and translate to the right word.
Sending Messages
How fast can your app translate my messages?
Your messages are sent and translated very quickly within seconds. This means there is very little delay between sending and receiving your messages in other languages.

Do I need to copy and paste each message to translate?
Absolutely no. You don’t even need to tap on the message to translate it. All translations are done automatically and all messages appear in your preferred language.
Can I convert my voice to text?
Yes, you can. We want to make life easier for you, so we included this speech-to-text feature for free. This means you just need to speak to the app and it will convert your voice to text. Then, your recipient will receive your text in their local language.
Can I send files or images?
Yes, certainly. Just like other messaging apps, you can also send documents, images and files when you chat.
Can I view the original message that was sent to me?
Yes, there’s a button on top of each conversation screen that lets you see all the text messages in their original form without translation.
How safe are my messages?
Your messages are sent over secured HTTPS connections, so no one can eavesdrop. All messages are processed by our AI engine according to our privacy policy.
Where do you store my data?
We store our data in our cloud infrastructure that is hosted by Amazon AWS or Google Cloud.
Translating Languages
How accurate is the translation?
We’re proud to say our translations are more accurate than Google Translate. Our AI translation engine can recognize misspelled words, wrong grammar, abbreviations and also common idioms.
Can I change my default language later?
Yes, but your previous messages will be maintained in your previous default language.
How accurate is your translation between non-English languages?
We do support non-English to non-English translation including non-Roman languages such as Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Please download our app and try it out.
Backup & Restore
Can I backup my messages?
Yes, you can backup your data but you need to create a recovery account using your email address. This is because we need to identify you as the owner of your data when you restore the data later.
How do I restore my messages?
To restore your past messages, download and install our app again. Then, during the onboarding process, log in to your recovery account. From there, you should follow the instructions to restore your backed-up messages.
